"Star Wars the force unleashed" is a nice, immersing game with beautiful graphics and sounds similar to many other games from this franchise. I was curious to see how the world of Star Wars (and the complexity of the controls) would appeared on an Ipod touch!
First, the creators had the good idea of resuming the controls to the basic! You don't control the character's movement! Instead, you are the master of the attack and defense mechanism used to help your character beat the Stormtroopers (or any other enemies!).
Using multiple actions at times may cause some weird situations, but overall, this system is great and reliable!
This is a nice twist since most of the first person shooters on Ipod (or Iphone) do have complex controls that usually don't work pretty well! However, this system will be at the cost of a more linear story!
You also have access to training tutorials to help you master all different abilities before moving on.
Another great idea was to create a nice variety of camera angles while your character is progressing in the story. Even when you battling one tough enemy, the camera will shift from two or three different positions, making the whole experience much more enjoyable!
Overall, "Star Wars the force unleashed" is a great game available for a very reasonable price! If you enjoy the "Star Wars" universe and don't mind trying something new, then this game is for you!
