This little brother of the original PC and console game is quite interesting for an Ipod game! "Call of duty: World at war: Zombies lite" doesn't deliver all the excitement of the paid version, but it's a nice introduction to the concept!
The graphics and the maps are visually above-average and the game does feature several interesting additions. You have access to a single player leaderboard, an achievement screen and a co-op mode. You can also purchase new maps if you want to expand the life of this game.
The controls are pretty easy to operate: a virtual joystick is available on your left to move from side to side and back and forth. On the right, you can use another virtual joystick to aim at the enemies.
To fire, simple touch the fire button and your character will execute the command. However, if you have big fingers or are a little distracted at times, you might find yourself firing while trying to aim at the enemy since both buttons are quite near one another!
I did have some trouble controlling my character from time-to-time, but overall, the controls were not so bad after all. It's not the perfect system to play with, but it's probably the best for now on this device.
Overall, "Call of duty: World at war: Zombies lite" is a nice little game for the Ipod touch or Iphone and there is no doubt that if you enjoy the free version, then no doubt that the full one is a good bargain!
